Crafted with Manuka smoked malted barley for added depth and complexity. This limited-release expression opens with an inviting nose of poached pears, cut grass, cinnamon, oak char, and spiced nuts. The palate delivers a rich interplay of biscuity malt and smoked spices, layered with orchard fruit and honey for balance and intrigue. A long, satisfying finish of nutmeg and walnut lingers, leaving an elegant and memorable impression.

Growing Wings is the second expression of The Cardrona Single Malt Whisky coming of age. Aged for five years in a marriage of specially selected ex-Oloroso Sherry butts and ex-Bourbon barrels, Growing Wings is decadently rich and delivered at natural cask strength. Dark fruits on the nose, and sticky treacle in the mouth. Opens with water.

Two types of cask are used for the maturation of this blended whisky: European oak which formerly held New Zealand red wine, and American white oak used exclusively for whisky. Sea air, caramelised fruits, red berries, apricot, spice.
