Bay and Barnes leaned on our cousins across the ditch for the grapes to make this classic Australian Chardonnay. Following harvest, fruit was gently pressed before settling. Specially selected yeasts were used to start fermentation. From there the wine was delicately matured on oak and lees stirred to impart lovely toasty flavours and a creamy texture.

This wine presents aromas of peach, nectarine and subtle spice notes. These characters follow through onto the palate where they are combined with delicate citrus flavours and an enveloping texture. The palate is lingering and culminates with natural sweetness and a hint of acidity.

A dry style Sauvignon Blanc with flavours of fresh passionfruit, gooseberry, melon and lime.

Made in a light refreshing style, and alive with aromas of freshly crushed grapes and musk. In the mouth the wine is alive with a vibrant and mouth-filling fruit flavour. This lively and fresh wine has a mild frizzante bubble on the finish. Best enjoyed chilled.

Found in 1897, Church Road combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern thinking and innovation to craft premium, complex wines. This creamy textured Hawke's Bay Chardonnay is unashamedly just a little bit old school. Ripe peach, tropical fruit and fragrant citrus notes are enhanced by toasty oak, wild fermentation, full malolactic and regular yeast lees string. This approach delivers layers of flavour reminiscent of toasted brioche, roasted hazelnut and sizzle butter.

The McDonald Series wines are an expression of both their fruit and the vision of their namesake winemaker. The finest free run juice was barrel fermented in predominantly older French oak to produce this finely textured, elegant Chardonnay. Vibrant citrus and stonefruit flavours are overlaid with subtle creamy oak and complexities of toasted hazelnut and brioche.

The McDonald Series wines are an expression of both their fruit and the vision of their namesake winemaker. Grown in Church Road's Matapiro Vineyard on the Crownthorpe Terraces, this is a full bodied, powerful style of Pinot Gris with a medium level of sweetness. Wonderfully aromatic with poached pear, stone fruit, rose and ginger, complimented by subtle complexity from wild fermentation and lees aging.
